S. Henriques

A Lonely Planet travel writer for almost a decade, I started writing fiction in 2021 after winning the European EACWP Flash Fiction competition with The Caretaker, a 100-word horror story.

Since then, I've been published in the Portuguese horror anthologies Sangue Novo (2021) and Sangue (2022). In March 2022, I co-founded Fábrica do Terror, a website dedicated to Portuguese horror, where I act as editor-in-chief. In September 2023, I wrote an entry on Portuguese Horror Female Authors for Enciclopédia do Terror Português. Dead Letters: Episodes of Epistolary Horror (2023) marked my debut in a foreign horror anthology.
